Join us as we convert Tess Marks and Nico PAPI Marks old house into a one night only art exhibition. “When We Grow” is an art exhibition that, deep dives into the inner monologue that they’ve faced these past few years as they struggled to find themselves in this lost period. Tess Marks and PAPI say, “Being young parents, figuring out careers, and maintaining life we reached a point where we were arguing a lot and suddenly something clicked. We realized that we have to grow separately in order to grow together. We began to do a lot of self reflection, health changes, reading, and things like that. It’s been a f***ing journey but we’ve learned that’s the key to life. We are here to live it to its fullest and never stop growing.” Through a series of paintings, sculptures, and installations, this show will take you on the individual journeys of growth that they are on. Come prepared to leave inspired to keep growing on your own journey.
